Competitive landscape studies

A structured read of how a category is described across answer engines. We map who is named, who is recommended, which source classes appear, and where the story splits by query job. The output is a written landscape, not a leaderboard for marketing slides.

Benchmark

AI visibility benchmarking

Repeated measurement of mention, citation, and recommendation for a fixed panel. Each engine is reported on its own line. Zeros stay visible. When the panel changes, the break is labeled so a quarter-to-quarter move is not mistaken for a market move.

Prompt-panel research

Design, review, and versioning of the question set itself. We separate branded and unbranded items, cover buyer jobs, and write a codebook before anyone collects answers. The panel is treated as a research object that can be inspected on its own.

Vendor evaluations

Independent reviews of tools that claim to measure or manage AI visibility. We look at the instrument (what is counted, how prompts are chosen, what is hidden) rather than at demo polish. If we are evaluating a vendor, that relationship is disclosed in the work.

How an engagement runs

A short, boring process

You send the category, the decision the research needs to support, and any constraints we should know.
We propose a question, a panel sketch, engines, and a coding plan. Collection does not start until that plan is agreed.
We collect, code, and write. Drafts include limits, missing jobs, and anything the method cannot support.
You receive a written brief and the instrument (panel, codebook, collection notes). The artifacts stay useful after the meeting.

We do not offer guaranteed mentions, citation packages, or undisclosed placement work. Those services belong to other firms.
